Whisper AI runs on OpenAI's Whisper model, which is strong across 100+ languages. Real accuracy depends on audio quality, how clearly people speak, and how much background noise there is.

What files can I transcribe?

Most common audio and video formats, including MP3, WAV, M4A, and MP4. You can also record in the browser or paste a media URL.

What happens to my audio?

Your files are used to produce your transcript and nothing more. We do not sell recordings or use them to train models. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

Is it really free?

Yes. You can transcribe in your browser for free, with no account needed to start. Some heavier features use credits, and the Pricing page shows what is included.

Which languages are supported?

More than 100, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, and Japanese. Whisper can also detect the language for you.
